The focus of MER Tax, Accounting, and Consulting is small business advising. We offer a number of services to small businesses, including:

Financial Statement Preparation
With over 15 years of experience, we offer leading edge financial statements that meet all professional standards. We can meet your needs for basic financial statements that satisfy most creditors (compilations).

Our financial statement services can be provided monthly, quarterly, semi-annually or annually, depending upon your needs.

We also can provide basic bookkeeping services for your business on our computer systems.

In order to prepare tax returns or annual financial statements we need you to provide some rudimentary information on the attached “Year End Business Info Needed” schedule, and to sign an engagement letter. New clients should also complete the “New Client Business Info Needed”

Payroll Services
We provide ready-for-signing paychecks, tax returns and tax deposits to take away the worries of payroll penalties.

We are available locally, we charge strictly by the hour, with no minimum. Our fee is less than your cost of one late deposit penalty.

We can also handle all of those unusual things that cause so many payroll problems-garnishees, retirement plans, cafeteria plans, churches and electronic tax deposits.
